That the Parliament notes that 25 August sees the commencement of the 2014 International Overdose Awareness Week; commends organisations such as Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol & Drugs (SFAD) which, it considers, does a sterling job of highlighting the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse; considers that the SFAD website, www.sfad.org.uk, has a wealth of information about how family and friends can learn more about addiction and key signs to look out for, and sends it condolences to the families of all those people in Scotland who have sadly died as a result of drug overdoses.
